Credential verification

Verify a credential

Every credential we issue carries a code that resolves to a live record served directly by us. No account, no copy of a certificate, no PDF that could have been edited — the page you land on reflects the credential's standing right now.

Operator codes begin AIA-O-; property codes begin AIA-P-. The code is on the badge, the certificate, and the holder's email signature if they use one.

A property badge reads TIA Certified while its code still begins AIA-P-. That is not a mismatch: the mark moved to TIA with the score, and the code prefix stays as issued so every credential already in circulation keeps verifying.

What you will see

Three states, stated plainly

Valid

Authentic and currently in good standing, with the tier, issue date, and expiry.

Expired

Genuine, but past its expiry date and not renewed. Still shown, because the history is part of the record.

Revoked

Withdrawn before expiry, with the date. A credential we pulled is not quietly deleted.

A code with no record means exactly that: we hold no credential under it. Treat any badge presenting an unverifiable code as unverified.
